I am 28 years old and I am going to defend my PhD thesis in Neuroscience at the University of Rome Tor Vergata on April 2022. I graduated in Neurobiology at the University of Rome “La Sapienza” in 2018. My PhD project, developed in the Synaptic Immunopathology Lab of Tor Vergata and IRCCS San Raffaele Roma under the supervision of Prof. Diego Centonze and Prof. Georgia Mandolesi, is about the impact of physical exercise on the neuroinflammation and neurodegeneration phenomena that characterized the animal model of Multiple Sclerosis. Thanks to my knowhow in animal behavioral assessment, immunohistochemistry and molecular biology and my knowledge in the field of MS disease and EAE animal model, I’m also involved in other projects of my Lab focused on different pathophysiological aspects of the disease.
